On Saturday, June 26th, six brand new show homes opened their doors for the first time in West Secord! Accompanied by an exciting farmer’s market, this was a day to remember!
The West Secord Farm Fresh Market, curated by Edmonton’s Kari Skelton, featured fresh produce, home goods, live music, and so much more! Everyone that signed up for the event received an “Edmonton is home” tote bag from Plum Home & Design, which they filled up with fresh goods from Lakeside Farmstead, Beaver Creek Honey, Caramunchies, KLB Designs, and more!

It was a hot summer day, and we were lucky to have the Bottled Bronco mobile bar & Prohibition Truck there serving up ice cold mocktails and kombucha! Cascarinos food truck was also there with 15 flavours of Little Bear Gelato – perfect for cooling off in the heat! Local music band The Dungarees played country hits and Lil Ryley Farms had three adorable baby lambs for petting. For a $10 donation to the YWCA Edmonton, market goers could take home a beautiful bouquet of fresh spring flowers from Cory Christopher!
