Ready to Purchase a Public Lot?
By purchasing a public lot from MLC Group, you’ll have the flexibility to choose your own builder and tailor your home to fit your specific needs and tastes. Both Genesis on the Lakes and The Banks at Keswick offer some great public lot options for different styles and preferences. If you’re considering purchasing a public lot, read below on our process and reach out with any questions.
Review the Lot Hold Policy
-Please read the Lot Hold Policy carefully.
-Make sure you understand how much you have to pay and when.
Complete the Lot Hold Form
-Fill out the Lot Hold Form.
-Bring a cheque to our office (or courier it).
Details on our location and hours of operation are outlined on the Lot Hold Form.
We do not accept e-transfers for lot holds.
GST is not included in the purchase price.
Pay for the Balance
-Before your lot hold expires you must supply a cheque for the remaining purchase price.
-Once all agreements have been signed and funds received, the sale is complete and the lot is yours!
Understand the Refund Policies
-Finally, make sure you and your builder BOTH understand damage and landscaping deposit refund policies before you build (these policies will be discussed with you once your lot hold is accepted).
